The Rodwell Trail

The Rodwell trail is a hidden Gem for visitors to Weymouth. If you are a keen cyclist or walker the 2 mile ex railway line takes you from Radipole Lake to Chesil Beach.

The Friends of Rodwell Trail are doing a fantastic job in the ongoing renovation of the trail and under the guidance the trail will become another great feauture for Weymouth. In fact the friends of the Rodwell trail on pushing to win the prestidious "green flag award"

The Rodwell trail can be picked up opposite the Ferry Bridge in and will take you to the roundabout at Radipole Lake.

The Rodwell trail is can be cycled in 15 minutes and walked in around an hour.

Our Hotel of the Week is the Wilton Guest House, it is perfectly situated between the Esplanade and Radipole lake. It has 3 dedicated family rooms and the owners are very knowledgable about the local erea.
